Lazada Atracted 1.3 Billion Visits in its Recent Sales Event

The month of November and December were highly influential for the online shopping platforms due to the series of sales event that is held in these two months combined. The recent sales conducted by Lazada has shown some unbelievable stats that have come across as very exciting news for most E-commerce platforms of the South East Asian region.
In the period of this recently concluded sales season, Lazada drew as many as 1.3 Billion visits from the compilation of all the six countries where it operates. In the month November, there was 3 major sales event held by Lazada which were 11.11 sale, Black Friday Sale and Cyber Monday. While December also got 2 major sales event rolling in form of 12.12 sale and the End of season sale. the total number of visits recorded by Lazada from the entire region amasses to a sum of whopping 1.3 billion which is a new record in itself and shows the increasing prominence of E-commerce on the average consumer.
The company has earlier been in headlines for the similar reasons ever since the 11.11 one day sale event held by the online platform gathered a record number of visits. The sales record were shattered in the later conducted 12.12 sale when the company recorded the highest number of sales value in the region on a single day which was apparently 30 times more than the average sales collected by the website on daily basis.
The scale of sales could be imagined by the fact that Lazada had to book special flights to distribute products sold on these sales days to Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore and the Philippines respectively. A total of 200 tonnes of sold products were carried on these flights which were exclusively due to these mammoth sales days and were unexpectedly higher than the company's own expectations.
