Celebrate A Merry Christmas In Singaporean Style
Post by Uzma Kidwai | Dec 08, 2016
Don’t you feel at this part of the year that time has got wings? I don’t know about you, but I so feel this way. It so seems like a few weeks when the year had just begun or the time we were planning holiday vacations and look its December already and the year is about to end!
The countdown to bid a farewell to 2016 has begun! However, what I believe is that why to waste your time in thinking about this. I mean it’s been high time you celebrated a festival on a full swing. And what better than Christmas! And I feel no one better than the Singaporeans; fill their December calendar with rock and roll gig!
So, what I would recommend is before you write down your new year resolutions of course to break them the very first week! (haha! just kidding) put on your party-cum-dance-cum- whatever shoes you would like to and lets begin the countdown for Christmas the Singapore style!
I know you might be fascinating about having a lavish yacht party with friends and closed ones, but then whatever your plans are just remember that there are zillions of things you could do in Singapore itself tagging the merry making along!
So, here are the five uber cool and fun things you could do on your Christmas Eve!
Gardens by the BayOkay, what do you think that you won’t get the vibe of English Christmas in Singapore? You got that wrong baby! Yes, you can enjoy the authentic and traditional European Christmas, just like the one we see in the movies- snow covered Christmas tree, jingle bell all around and did I mention chocolate covered cupcakes? The festive market is full embellished just like the London’s Hyde Park and you could experience a European Christmas without even leaving the country!
AltimateBored of the usual Christmas merry making, singing carols and that turkey dinner? Well, no worries at all. If you want to jazz up your Christmas Eve by switching from carols to electronic dance music (edm! pump it up!) and having an exuberant time with friends. The Altimate club has got a perfect ambiance on this day. It turns into a Christmas globe and let your hair down!
S.E.A. Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa Ah! What am I telling you about the usual Christmas merry making, when the best part is here! Ever thought of celebrating a Fishmas? An underwater Christmas party! Surprised? Don’t be! It’s definitely not a new word that I am trying to invent but you could actually enjoy your Christmas almost underwater. At the S.E.A. Aquarium you can get all these and make this Christmas an unforgettable one!
Universal Studios Singapore did you just get reminded of the Halloween horror nights or the giant slushies? Then hey, hey! Stop then and there. You might not know that Universal Studios is all set to make you break the floor by organizing a year-end party! The theme park will bring you into a full festive mood!
Orchard Road Not in a mood to party this Christmas? Want to spend calm and composed Christmas Eve? Well, don’t feel that there is no other option for you except that of laying back at home and watching a moving marathon! No, you could take a walk along the orchard park where you get to enjoy the town like ambiance and a row of sparkling lights!
So, this was all about how you could have a blast on the Christmas Eve staying back in Singapore itself! And with this it’s a wrap, will meet you next time at same space, some other time! Tada..!!
