Can I return shutters if I change my mind?
Made-to-measure shutters cannot be returned if you change your mind or make a mistake. Each product is tailored to your specific order. Only faulty, damaged, or wrong items can be returned within 30 days. Always check measurements before confirming your order.
How do I report damaged or defective shutters?
If your shutters arrive damaged or faulty, contact support within 30 days of delivery. You can email hello@californiashutters.co.uk or use live chat for help. Provide your order number, name, address, and photos of the problem. This helps resolve the issue quickly.
How long will delivery take?
Delivery times vary based on the product and are listed on each product page. These times apply only to mainland UK addresses. Deliveries to remote or offshore areas may take longer. Different items in the same order might arrive separately.
Where do you deliver shutters?
Deliveries are available across mainland UK, Northern Ireland, and the Scottish Highlands and Islands. A fixed delivery fee of £15 applies. Offshore and remote locations may require additional time. Check your product page for estimated delivery dates.
What should I expect on delivery day?
Deliveries will be made to the outside of the property only. Make sure someone is available to carry boxes indoors safely. Shutter boxes can be large and may weigh over 10kg. Delivery slots are weekdays between 8 am and 6 pm.
What if I miss my scheduled delivery?
The courier will try to deliver again within five working days. You can arrange to leave items with a neighbor or in a safe place. Contact support if you want to give specific instructions to the courier.
What if my delivery is delayed?
Delays can occasionally occur due to circumstances beyond direct control. In such cases, every effort is made to dispatch and deliver as soon as possible. Delivery estimates are given as guidance only and discounts are not provided for delays.
