All cast iron fireplaces work with both solid fuel and gas. If you want to use gas, you need to hire a Gas Safe Engineer. The grate should be removed, the fire must be bolted to the floor, and the damper flap should stay open. The Gallery Collection shows when gas or electric fire options are available.
